Ande is a Belgian one man black metal band started by Jim in early 2015. It’s a personal way to be a part of the black metal
movement that was, is and will be.
Influences range from second wave black metal to atmospheric and post black metal bands.
The band name originates from an old Dutch word which stands for intense emotions like repent, passion and anger.

The atmosphere of this album is fantastic. Makes you feel like you're knee-deep in the trenches drenched in mud, filth, sweat, and blood. Truly encapsulates the horrors of World War I, and the fact that the lyrics of some of the songs are taken from old war letters really adds to the authenticity. Favorite Track(s): Die Feuertaufe, Grabenlieder

Wind blasted melodic black metal from the fields of Ukraine. The production is raw and gritty and the performance is aggressive. The additional acoustic guitar passage give some room to breath. Another solid release. 7/10
